Tremron Fence Installation: The Fort Lauderdale Owner’s Guide
Tremron fence installation in Fort Lauderdale typically costs $3,500 to $9,000 installed, depending on panel count, gate hardware, and whether your existing posts are still sound. We stock Tremron-compatible fence panels, posts, and gate components locally and can usually schedule your installation within a week of the free estimate. Most owners discover a problem the same way: a gate starts dragging on the pavers, a post begins leaning after a summer storm, or a panel cracks at the bottom where sprinkler water has been hitting it for years.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron manufactures precast concrete fence systems under several product lines, and the installation specs differ more than most homeowners expect. The two most common in South Florida are the Tremron privacy wall systems and their decorative screen block lines. The privacy wall panels run 6 feet tall by 8 feet wide in most configurations, with post dimensions of 12 inches by 12 inches. The screen block lines are thinner, typically 4 inches thick, and are used more for accent walls and pool enclosures than full perimeter fencing.
Here’s the compatibility gotcha worth knowing before you buy anything: Tremron fence posts are engineered with internal slots that accept panels of matching profile only. A panel from a discontinued Tremron line will not seat correctly in a newer post, and forcing it cracks the post’s interior slot. If you have an older installation, take a photo of the panel edge profile before calling anyone. We can usually identify the series from that photo or from a stamp on the panel’s bottom edge. We are an independent service provider and not affiliated with Tremron, which means we’re free to recommend the right fix whether that’s an OEM panel or a quality aftermarket equivalent that matches your existing profile.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Post leaning more than 5 degrees. This usually means the post footing has eroded or the post was set too shallow originally. In Fort Lauderdale’s sandy soil, a post needs a concrete footer of at least 18 inches below grade to survive the wet season.
- Gate drags or won’t latch. Tremron fence posts are heavy, and when a gate post shifts even a quarter inch, the gate drops. The hinge bolts can also wallow out their holes in the concrete over time.
- Cracks radiating from a post corner. This is the classic Florida symptom of a panel that was forced into a mismatched slot, or a post that settled unevenly. Once concrete cracks at a load point, the panel loses its lateral support.
- Panels shifting out of alignment. You’ll see one panel sitting a half-inch proud of its neighbor. That’s usually a footing that has started to sink on one side, common in low-lying Fort Lauderdale yards where the water table sits close to the surface in summer.
- White, chalky residue at the panel base. Efflorescence tells you water is wicking up through the concrete. It’s cosmetic until it isn’t; over years, constant moisture weakens the panel’s lower third and causes spalling at the corners.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Tremron fence installation in Fort Lauderdale runs $3,500 to $9,000. That range covers everything from a short 20-foot perimeter section to a full 100-plus-foot backyard enclosure with a gate. The main drivers are panel count, gate hardware, whether existing posts can be reused or need new footers, and access; if we have to hand-carry panels through a side yard, that adds labor.
Every quote includes the panels, posts, concrete footers, hardware, haul-away of the old material, and labor. You get a written price before any work starts, and the number on that quote is the number on the final invoice. No change orders unless you ask for something different after the fact. The work is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something isn’t right within a year of completion, we make it right at no cost to you.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: confirm your panel spacing, measure the panel thickness, and note whether your posts are filled with concrete or hollow. That information helps us quote you accurately over the phone. What we don’t recommend is setting Tremron posts yourself. These are heavy precast units; a single post can weigh 200 pounds or more, and handling them without the right equipment risks a crushed foot or a blown-out back. There’s also a real safety issue with a leaning post on a tall fence: once a section starts to go, the whole run can come down from a wind gust before you get a brace in place. If you’re standing next to it, you don’t win that fight. We tell you what we found, what it takes to fix it, and what it will cost, before we touch a thing. Call (754) 354-3720 and we’ll come out, look at your fence line, and hand you a written price.
FAQs

A properly installed Tremron precast fence lasts 25 to 40 years in Fort Lauderdale, provided the footers were set deep enough for our sandy soil and the panels were matched to the correct post slots. The gate hardware usually fails first, at around the 10-to-15-year mark, and is replaceable without touching the rest of the fence. Call (754) 354-3720 if your gate is sagging; we can usually replace the hinges and latch same-day without resetting posts.
Small, non-structural cracks can be patched with a concrete repair compound in most cases, but any crack that runs through a post slot or spans more than half the panel width means replacement. A structural crack in a load-bearing post is not repairable; concrete is load-rated as a unit, and no surface patch restores that. We’ll give you an honest answer either way; sometimes a $50 patch buys you five more years, and we’ll tell you that.
Most Tremron fence installations in Fort Lauderdale take two to three days from footing dig to final gate adjustment, and concrete needs a full day to cure before panels are set. Weather can push that; summer afternoon thunderstorms will pause a pour. We sequence the work so your yard is never open to the street overnight without a temporary panel in place.
We stock the most common Tremron-compatible panel profiles and post sizes locally in Fort Lauderdale, along with gate hardware, so there’s no ordering delay on standard installations. If you have a discontinued or specialty profile, we source it through our supplier network and include that lead time in your written quote before we start. The same goes for owners who’ve asked us to match existing hardscape from partners like Belgard or Tremron; we also regularly order cabinetry and finish materials from brands like KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone when a fence project turns into a larger outdoor renovation.
