Caesarstone Windows & Doors: The Fort Lauderdale Owner’s Guide
If you have a Caesarstone window or door that won’t close, seal, or lock the way it should, the fix usually comes down to the hardware: hinges, rollers, weatherstripping, or the locking mechanism itself. We stock Caesarstone-compatible replacement parts on our trucks and install them across Fort Lauderdale, with most window and door hardware jobs running $400 to $1,800 depending on what failed and whether the unit needs realignment. Most owners discover the problem the hard way: a door that suddenly drags on the track, a window that lets South Florida humidity seep through the sash, or a lock that simply stops engaging.
You’ll find us at Mason Remodeling Co Fort Lauderdale. We’re an independent service provider and not affiliated with Caesarstone, but we’ve worked on enough of their windows and doors across Victoria Park, Coral Ridge, and Rio Vista to know exactly what fails and what it takes to make it right.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone’s window and door lineup spans several series, and the parts are not always interchangeable between them. We see three main groups in Fort Lauderdale homes: the Standard Series (original builder-grade units, mostly single-hung and sliding doors), the Premium Series (heavier frames, multi-point locks, usually installed after 2015), and the Impact Series (hurricane-rated, which matters here more than almost anywhere else in the country).
The fastest way to identify what you have is the label. Look for the etched code in the lower corner of the glass or the metal tag on the frame’s interior edge. It’ll show the series, the production date, and a unit number. Bring that to us or read it over the phone and we can usually confirm compatibility before we schedule. The gotcha we run into constantly: Caesarstone changed roller carriage widths on sliding doors between 2014 and 2016. A 2014 Premium Series door will not accept a 2016-style roller, even though the track looks identical. If you’re ordering parts yourself online, this is where owners get burned. We stock OEM Caeserstone hardware where it matters for warranty continuity, and we offer quality aftermarket equivalents for older units where OEM parts are discontinued or backordered for months.

Signs Your Caesarstone Windows & Doors Is Failing
- Door drags or jumps on the track. This is almost always a roller carriage failure. The nylon wheel wears flat over time, especially on west-facing doors where afternoon heat breaks down the bearing lubricant. You’ll feel a catch every few inches, then a smooth stretch.
- Window won’t stay open. The spiral balance or block-and-tackle balance inside the jamb has lost tension. Single-hung Caesarstone windows from the Standard Series are prone to this after 8-10 years of daily use.
- Condensation between the glass panes. The insulated glass unit’s seal has failed. South Florida’s humidity accelerates this; we see it twice as often here as you’d expect in drier climates. The window frame may be fine, but the glass pack needs replacement.
- Lock engages but the door still moves. The locking points are out of alignment with the keepers on the frame. This happens when the door settles or the hinges wear, and it’s as much a security issue as a mechanical one.
- Water staining on the interior sill or floor near the frame. The weatherstripping or sill dam has degraded. By the time you see the stain, the leak has probably been there through one or two rainy seasons.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Parts and labor for Caesarstone window and door hardware in Fort Lauderdale run from $400 to $1,800 depending on the scope. A single roller replacement on a sliding door typically lands around $400 to $700, including the new carriage assembly and track cleaning. A full door reconditioning with new rollers, weatherstripping, and lock adjustment runs $800 to $1,400. If the insulated glass unit itself needs replacing, you’re looking at window replacement territory, which in Fort Lauderdale runs $4,500 to $15,000 depending on window count and whether you need impact-rated glass.
What you’ll get from us, every time: a written price before we start, line-item parts and labor, and no change orders unless we find something genuinely structural behind the frame. Isaac Pruett runs our Fort Lauderdale shop, and the rule he’s held since we started is simple: we tell you what we found, what it takes to fix it, and what it will cost, before we touch a thing. Our work comes with a 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the repair fails within a year of completion, we come back and make it right at no cost to you.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: look at the roller condition with a flashlight, check the weatherstripping for compression or cracking, and see if the lock points visually line up with the frame slots. That’s about where we’d stop. Rolling door panels are heavy, usually 80 to 150 pounds for a standard sliding glass door, and the tension in a window balance mechanism can release fast if you remove the wrong screw. We’ve had more than one customer in Fort Lauderdale turn what should have been a $400 roller job into a cracked glass panel and a much bigger invoice. If you can read the model label but not diagnose the problem, call us at (754) 354-3720 and we’ll walk you through what we need to know before we schedule.
FAQs

Caesarstone frames and glass packages typically last 20 to 30 years here, but the hardware has a shorter life. Rollers, balances, and weatherstripping usually need replacement every 8 to 12 years in South Florida’s heat and humidity. Salt air near the coast, like east of Federal Highway, shortens that further. If your units are past the 10-year mark and showing symptoms, plan for hardware replacement now rather than a full window replacement later. Call (754) 354-3720 and we’ll give you an honest read on what’s worth fixing.
Almost always, yes. Frames and glass are rarely the problem; the moving hardware is. Rollers, hinges, balances, locks, and weatherstripping are all replaceable at a fraction of full unit cost. The exception is failed sealed glass units and major frame rot, both of which push you toward replacement. We’ll tell you straight if a repair doesn’t make financial sense. Call (754) 354-3720 for an exact assessment, estimates are free.
Most roller, balance, and weatherstripping repairs take 1 to 2 hours on site. Door realignments and multi-point lock replacements can take 2 to 4 hours. We bring common parts for Standard and Premium Series units on the truck, so we usually finish in one visit. If we don’t have your part, we source it from our Caesarstone parts channels or quality aftermarket equivalents and you’ll know the timeline before we start. Call (754) 354-3720 to schedule.
We stock the common-failure parts for Caesarstone Standard and Premium Series doors and windows on our trucks: rollers, track kits, balances, weatherstripping, and lock assemblies. If you’ve got an Impact Series unit or an older build, we’ll source the specific part once we confirm your model. You don’t need to order anything yourself, and we’d rather you didn’t, given how often we see owners buy the wrong roller width or hinge offset online. We also keep hardware options from KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone for our remodeling work. Call (754) 354-3720 and we’ll confirm what’s in stock before we head your way.
